David Dominguez, PA-C

Physician Assistant
he / him / his

Dedicated, hard-working, trustworthy, and detail-oriented who attempts to always apply an “upstream” approach while practicing, making sure to identify and address issues that cause disease and illness before they emerge whenever possible while practicing evidence-based medicine. I am grateful for the opportunity to work at Cherry Health and help those who need it most!

Education, Training, and Certifications

Completed post-graduate NP/PA Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Arizona, based upon the physician “core competencies” from the Society of Hospital Medicine. The fellowship focused on specialized training in hospital internal medicine and critical care and included additional medical specialty rotations (including cardiology, emergency medicine, neurology, hematology, heart failure, and palliative medicine) through formal didactic instruction, journal club and case review participation, and project-based learning through hands-on experience.

Professional History

Graduated with my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Charles R. Drew University in Southern California before practicing Interventional Pain in Southern California with Dr. Gary Baker. I then completed my NP/PA fellowship in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ, where I spent three years prior to moving to Grand Rapids, MI.
