School-Based Health Centers
Cherry Health collaborates with Grand Rapids Public Schools, Godwin Heights Public Schools, Spectrum Health, and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to administer onsite health centers at schools. These centers help students improve their attendance and academic performance by providing medical care, dental care, counseling, and more.
All students are welcome, regardless of their ability to pay.
Confidential Services: Michigan law allows kids to access certain services without permission from their parent or guardian. This means conversations, records, and test results from confidential visits are not shared with anyone.
With parental consent, students can access services at the onsite health centers at the following schools:
- Godwin Heights High School Health Center
- Innovation Central High School Health Center
- Ottawa Hills High School Health Center
- Union High School Health Center
