The best thing about practicing medicine is helping people live healthy and fulfilling lives. I enjoy using evidence-based medicine that is supported by rigorous science to help my patients do this, but the thing that gives me the most joy is when my patients invite me to walk alongside them while they find strength and resilience in themselves to bring about health and fulfillment. It is an honor and privilege.
